ciiiinday: For Christmas this year, I asked my parents for only one thing and that was Sigmund Freud’s classic masterpiece The Interpretations of Dreams. I asked for just the original edition of the book, but my mom went above and beyond and knowing that I appreciate and take a huge interest in art, bought the illustrated edition. This edition captures Freud’s influences both inside and outside the field of the psychological sciences by incorporating the heavily Freudian impacted art movement of Surrealism. This 557 page classic with literally an artistic twist, may be a lot to tackle on but the reward of understanding the ideals of Siggy Freud is in itself all the worthwhile.
